Salve a tutti.
Non ho trovato post recenti sulla hardrock 100 per quanto riguarda il tentativo di partecipare alla gara da parte di qualche comune mortale come il sottoscritto.
Avendo concluso il Tor quest' anno , avrei la possibilità di tentare la lotteria per l iscrizione. Ovviamente sarebbe mooooolto difficile essere estratti ma un viaggio in America è da un po' che vorremmo programmarlo con mia moglie, e questa potrebbe essere la scusa. Al di là del costo e delle modalità viene richiesto un attestato di svolgimento di almeno 8 ore di servizio ad una gara Trail. Di seguito parte del regolamento
Hardrock 100 Endurance Run has an 8 hour service requirement. This can be satisfied by performing 8 hours of work in either 1) organization of an ultra, 2) service at an ultra (e.g. working an aid station), or 3) work on a trail used by an ultra. Note that generic trail work is not acceptable - it must be a trail on which an ultra is run. Also, crewing or pacing another runner at an ultra does not count - that is service to the runner, not to the race. The window for performing this work begins July 1, 2021 and ends on June 12, 2022. The Service Requirement Certification Form (available on the Hardrock 100 website) describing the work performed and signed by the RD of the ultra supported must be received as described on the form by June 19, 2022 or the runner will be removed from the start list or wait list. Thus, runners who wish to remain on the wait list must also return their service form by June 19, 2022. On June 20, 2022, the wait list will be purged of those who have not sent their form, and they will be ineligible to receive a spot on the start line if another runner withdraws.
